Blissful Bedtime

At your wits end? Feel like you’ve read EVERY book, googled intensely; got copious and conflicting amounts of information, and still nothing has worked?

Do not despair

You might think you’re the one with the only child that just doesn’t sleep, and is never going to learn to sleep well, and you just have to accept the endless nights of sleep deprivation, right?

No!

Before you give up; ask yourself TWO questions:

1. How long did you try ONE thing for?

You may have tried for a few hours, a day, or even a handful of days… and when you didn’t get results quickly, gave up and tried something new.

My advice; pick an approach and try it for at least 7 to 10 days, and then see what results you get. You will be surprised!

2.  How consistent were you with your response – did you see it through occasionally, but not every time?

Quite often I find that inconsistency can be the issue that is preventing the desired results. Understandably, when you are sleep deprived sticking to something without 100% guaranteed success can be difficult.  Which is why support and reassurance from someone trusted can be so beneficial.

The likelihood is you’ve probably already touched on the ideal approach for your child, it’s just that a few tweaks may be necessary to see results.

The key is to find the right approach for you and be consistent with it. Don’t give up or write it off after a couple of days.

If you are not sure which approach might be right for you, get in touch, I can help you investigate and we will achieve results together.
